Encouraging Hankil CC and East Timor students to adapt to Korean life
Yeongam-gun Foreign Residents Support Center (Director Jeong Doo-bae) and Han Gil CN Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Yong-ho) donated 600kg of rice, 300kg of kimchi and 720 cup noodles to students studying in East Timor, Sehan University, on the 4th (Monday) to actively encourage international students to adapt to Korean life.
Students who came to study from East Timor last year were having various difficulties adapting to Korean life due to environmental and language problems.
After considering how to help international students in East Timor, they conducted volunteer activities to donate food materials and promised mutual cooperation to help foreigners adapt to Korean life through the agreement.
In the future, various activities will be prepared to help foreigners who are struggling to live in Korea to adapt.
Jeong Doo-bae, head of the Yeongam-gun Foreign Community Support Center, who attended the donation sharing volunteer work, said, "I hope this volunteer work will help international students adjust to Korean life, and we will prepare various activities for foreigners in the future to make more efforts for foreign welfare."
Park Yong-ho, CEO of Hangil CNC, said, "It is an honor to be able to participate in this donation sharing volunteer work and we will attend continuous volunteer work through an agreement with Yeongam-gun Foreign Residents Support Center."
